The Belvederes would look good with spacers and slight lowering.
If chosen wisely the lowering springs might even improve the ride.

Me too!
I might get round to fitting them one year.
My current insurer doesn't like spacers.

If anyone is looking for a mint set of Belvederes, I've just posted a For Sale thread for mine.

Cheers!

Our family wagon needed replacing, so forced sale to fund this.

I have also changed jobs, meaning a commute most days by public transport, so could not really justify keeping the GTI in the garage - despite man maths!

Will have a small budget left to find a cheap runaround to leave at the station etc.

I did something along the same lines last year with my R.
It wasn't very long before the man maths took over again!

Such a shame, yours was one of the very best looking mk7's I've ever seen.

I’m juggling things around in my head trying to figure out a way of buying these without just being stupid and impulsive: )

Go the whole way and have the Clubsport diffuser and the exhaust as well for a discount! Man maths at its best?
