Forgive me for stating the obvious....It doesn't really matter which mode you're in if you have a heavy right foot.
Doesn't make much difference Jeni. Things make a real difference to a GTD fuel economy:1) How hard you push the go pedal - get used to following the suggested gear display and taking your foot off of the pedal.2) Ambient temperature (below about ten degrees MPG falls 5-10mpg)3) The usual driving in traffic.Worst case scenario, commute to work about 5-7 miles in traffic on a cold morning. You'll get about 30mpg on that.What sort of mpg are you getting? Have a look a the "since refuel" figure. Mine is usually about 48mpg at the moment.
