Leasing works best if you swap regularly, cover average mileage or less, and don't add lots of options. If all three of those criteria suit you then it could be worth a look, but if you plan on keeping the Golf as long as you've kept your last Civic then you may find leasing expensive.
The Golf GTi is a pretty well specced car as standard, no need to go overboard with extras. 18 inch wheels, led/xenon lights, heated seats, sat nav and climate control are all standard. Later pre-facelifted 5 door cars also get keyless entry as standard.
