Tire pressure on 19" road and track?!?

Yes, I know, you can read 1000 threads. But did not make any sense of this.

It is generally said that 0.5Bar will be added at Track. But because I drive 2.8bar on the street, I feel 3,3bar really crazy ?!

So what on the street and track?

2.8bar straight off on both ?

Reduce for track, about 5-7psi, not sure what that is in bar.

Edit, the reason you reduce is because the tyre will get a lot hotter during a track event and in doing so will increase the pressure.

When i drove on the track for teen years ago, you had to put like 6psi more in the tire on the track..

But that has now changed i suppose.

I was reducing tyre pressure 10 years ago too. I have never heard of anyone putting extra pressure in tyres for track.

Some people says that the roads tires are to week. That you have to have som more pressure not to ruin the tire..

But that might not be the case now..

Well a track day is not going to have a good effect on road tyre and especially tyres that have 5mm or more thread on them. Ideally you would want to have a track focused tyre or a road tyre with around 3mm of thread depth.

My tires are brand new, so it gonna be perfect.. 

Yes around ten, but have not thought so much about tires pressure  .

Run 0.5 bar differential front to rear (0.5 higher on the rear).

Start off with your 2.8 front, 3.3 rear note how much pressure has built up and how it feels  after the session and adjust starting pressure as necessary.

If you cant kill the inevitable understeer and as you gain confidence increase F -R  pressure difference.
