Sneak preview of 7.5 PP in Indium

Went to check out the new wheels yesterday ahead of the handover on 1st Sept and it looked absolutely stunning. Like many I couldn't decide on which colour but I have to say Indium Grey with rear tints does looks the business IMO.  It should be even better once the black gloss mirror caps are fitted this week. To get the modding underway I've also ordered caps to cover the mirror bolts (as per 7.0) and covers for the isofix mounts on the rear seats.  #countingdownthedays

Black gloss mirror caps, seriously?  Back in the day the way to spot a lower spec car was one WITH black mirror caps as opposed to body colour! Most peeps with black ones used to spray their black mirror caps body colour, oh how things have changed!

The car does look great, just don't bother ruining it!

That was definitely the case years ago but fashions and trends change. Glossy black mirrors and other gloss black bits of trim are commonly seen now in the more "sporty" derivative of lots of cars. The Clubsport GTI had gloss caps. They're an option on the R in lieu of the silver ones.
I do think the gloss black caps are rather nice so I'd go for it. They're very easy to swap on/off anyway so you can always change them back easily assuming you don't spray the originals.

I think it looks more premium with Black. Think it look to boring with the same color on the mirrorcaps Like a Golf GT 1.5TSI..

Looks fantastic especially in the video. I think the gloss black mirror covers will look good with the black bits on the bumper.

Thanks for the comments for and against guys. I think they'll blend in well against the tints and the other black bits on the car and of course the originals can always be put back. The other half suggested red to match her Beats Polo but that would be a step too far.

Looks great! Mine is scheduled to arrive at dealer some time this week, gives me a good idea of what to expect just wrong amount of doors!
