Fuel filler

Does anybody know where I can get hold of a stainless steel or aluminium fuel filler neck for the mk1 golf  ???as the original is going rusty on the inside. :-\

Not sure that you can get the stainless one's anymore. Autocavan used to do them.

Try German & Swedish as they seem to have bought Autocavan's stock when they stopped trading. It was years ago, but you might be lucky. I've bought a couple of bits from G&S (Manchester) that had Autocavan part number stickers still on.

I got a Standard one from EuroCarparts. Cost me about ?70 with the hose aswell (worth getting).

Very easy to DIY.

GSF sell them for a shade under ?30, they are heavier construction than the original so should be less likely to corrode as easily.
