can anyone measure where the impact bar bolts on the drivers door

for me and tell me mesurments from the hindges and the lock catch on a mk2 golf as I have the bar but forgot to save the measurments for the holes

or do I have the only one ...

I haven't ever seen one in the flesh, but I thought the door already had a hole or mark for them?

I have only seen this one impact bar
but nope no holes as standard 

the Giveaway to haveing one fitted will be the 2 inch'ish gromet at the catch end of the door

So I'd assume it was an option since the bar is soo rare
the bar I have is from an 86/87 D plate 8 valve

I can put a pic of the bar up but it's only a bar with a bolt in either end

I've got impact bars on mine, I'd be happy to take some measurements for you.
Perhaps you could post a pic of exactly what you want measured???

Hi somewhere in the area's marked on these two pic's there should be a 13mm bolt head I need to know how high and how deep into the door it is at both end's
and roughly where the hole to insert the bar is aswell please mate
