Minimum Wheel size on MK7.5 GTI-PP

Already starting to think about winter wheels, I run winter tyres as much for the grip as I do to keep the OEM wheels nice (and away from salt), so my question is What is the minium size wheel to fit over the GTI-PP larger front disc?

I assume the larger disc of the Performance Pack is the same size as the Golf R? Thus whatever the smallest wheel for the Golf R is probably the same?

Is it 18s? Or could I run 17s in winter?

Definately no problem with 17"....the gti PP in Germany comes standard with 17.

I run a OEM VW Passat 17" rim as a spare on my MK7 GTI PP with no issues.

Might need to look at a spare set of 18s then, not sure I'd want to run 17s if they are that close.

You'll be fine

I ran 16's on my old MK4 and A3 and had that much clearance and suffered zero issues

  Yes the weghts on the wheel is tight..

Is is nice that we don´t have so much ice and snow in sweden....
