Boring tyre question

I've Glendale 19s on my car and the tyres need replacing. Currently have conti sp but fancy a change and am looking at Goodyear eagle f1s any thoughts?

Had a full set fitted to my car ages ago couldn't believe the difference  :smiley:  it had the continental s on the front michelins on the rear

The Eagle F1 are good. Similar to Conti.

Evo magazine has the annual tyre test in this month's issue
2019 3 door manual GTi Performance in black
Bought 2 years ago as a 1 owner car, FVWSH and 10k miles

When I had my mk6 GTD, I replaced the Bridgestones with Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's. IMO they were quieter and had better grip than the Bridgestones. I sold the car before the F1's wore out but I don't think they were as hard wearing as the Bridgestones so wouldn't have lasted as long, but that's the trade off for better grip.
