I used to browse / lurk on it back then but only registered and posted about 2.5 years ago when I caved and ordered a MK7 R. I think around the time it changed from r-forum to vwroc.

I remember some guys from Yorkshire, one who I think created the site, and Scotland (tbh the best place for an R) also Belfast??? who drove thousands of miles weekly and gave great feedback on fuel consumption! etc. That we all care so much about, not! Me I'm more concerned about my wine consumption right now. Well, I'm told I should be.
