Has anyone noticed that the GTi PP On The Road pricing on the vw website looks to be wrong?
I know that the first year VED is dependent on CO2 emissions, but the GTi PP (manual) is 150g/km.
According to the DVLA website, the hike of £300 comes at 151g/km. Yet when you look at VW's breakdown on their price list they include £300 more (£1,155 versus £855) for all OTR costs on the GTi PP manual.
Ironically, in the price list somewhere else, it correctly states that the 1st yr VED is £200, even with bigger wheels)
I know the vw website has a few 'accuracy issues', but one to watch out for when buying a PP manual, and perhaps one to bring up with dealer.
Further proof of this error is that the DSG version of the PP has a £1,070 uplift over a DSG non-PP, whereas manual is £1,370). In addition, the drivethedeal website shows a (correct) OTR price of manual of £29,675.
