Replacement brake discs

Tarox disks look good but if you have a PP,the Clubsport S discs are a straight swap,lighter by 900g per disc and available for less.

Make sure you give them a coat of silver hammerite before you get them fitted, they'll start rusting after a couple of months otherwise.

Must get round to doing mine soon, rusty discs really let an otherwise spotless car down

These also look good and a fair price ..  but i am no intrsted in the clubsport S ones but that will be £420 by time i get pads

I have a question, I'm just about to change the Rear discs and Pads........... Mine car has the standard brake kit.

The disc's I've had come are ATE Rear Discs (These are vented)  The disc on the car are solid ....Will these fit ?
The pads are EBC Yellow stuff pads

As I said in my earlier post, there are two different brake set ups. The GTI has solid rear discs and the GTI PP has vented rear discs, if you have a PP car then these discs will be ok but they will not fit between the calipers on a standard GTI.

This is what I thought, I used my Reg Details on the website too . To be honest its not the only site that has said these were correct. I'm struggling to find the correct solid type .....  Any ideas ?
