Drive the Deal approx 15.5% discount.

Best Carwow offer approx 12.7% discount.

Both quotes were for 5dr GTD's.

Drive the Deal nearly always beat Carwow on price. However with Carwow you get a choice of dealers and can trade off price vs convenience. There is sometimes a little scope for haggling with Carwow, whereas with DTD you pay the price on your screen.

DTD for me was 14.9%
Carwow was 12.4%

I went for Carwow in the end

Yes same here , for the little extra discount I had a nearby dealer . Only pain was the sales lady trying to flog me gap insurance etc and not taking no for an answer until I started to walk out .

I was 10.9% via Carwow but that was cash - seems you get a better discount for PCP.  Either that or I need to try harder.  However the dealer is 5 miles from my house which is worth a lot to me,

At the moment there is a £1,000 deposit contribution if you take the PCP finance from VWFS. That's why the finance was cheaper than cash. It was the same for me as well.

I took out the finance as well and will pay off the full amount as soon as I get home from collecting it requesting the "Right of Withdrawal".

Yes I forgot to mention that. You can just take out the finance agreement and settle early. You get to keep the finance contribution. Several people on this and other forums have done so with no problems.

As has Been mentioned Carlow dealer might be closer, I was told DTD currently have two VW dealers on the books so might be a distance to travel. The price does include having the car driven to your address.
Carwow and Orange Wheels usually offer part ex but the offer from Orange Wheels Audi dealer for my GTI was poor. In the end I went with DTD for my R and the dealer took my GTI part ex and gave me a better price than anyone else. DTD also offer an auction service for your car for a small fee.

The last time I checked, DTD have the car trailered to your address, not driven.
Things may have changed though and if this is now the case, I wouldn't buy a car through them.
Don't need some stranger driving my new car before I do.
