After jumping from build week confirmed to in transit all on the 24/06 i was checking the ships that were doing emden to tyne and there was a ship doing the trip on the 02/07 had it confirmed today that my car was on it by VW chat so i should hopefully have mine in the next couple of weeks !

Picking mine up tomorrow - it does seem to move quite quickly once the factory starts the build.

Just checked the tracker this morning. Had jumped from 'in transit' to 'in uk'. VW chat confirmed it was on the Nordic Ace which docked in the Tyne on the 1st. Now just got to arrange the sale of my current car.

The tracker has changed this week from Build Week Scheduled to In Transit - don't know whether to trust it as the Build Week was 30 w/c 24.07.17 & I'm not planning on putting it on the road until 2nd September.

Interesting to see a fellow build week 30 has seen his order jump forward.  We've got similar specs ordered at almost the same time, wonder if mine might jump?! Although like yourself I'll not be collecting until early September regardless

Mine was scheduled for build week 30 and now the tracker app is showing in transit. My dealer thinks it should be available for pick later this month. What's the view of picking it up or waiting for the new 67 plate to come out?

Personally I'm waiting if my build week 30 order is available sooner than September 1st.  Suits my circumstances though (holiday commitments, current PCP ending etc).  Even without that for the sake of a few weeks now I'd likely wait for the new reg.

How long did you guys wait from build week confirmed to build in progress?

Mine is still down for wk 32 but hasn't been confirmed yet, but seeing that yours are already in transit is pretty exciting.

If my car is ready for collection this month I think I will have to take it as I want to drive it now. 😀 In August I might have to bite the bullet and wait.

My build week was confirmed about the 13th June and then skipped to stage 5 at the beginning of this month.
