Finally today after 3.5 weeks from ordering the Tracker is actually working and recognises my Order No. - ordered on 13.05.17 & showing as Stage 2 - With the Factory.

2013 63 plate Mk7 GTD, Manual, 5 doors, Carbon Grey Metalic, ACC, Reversing Camera, Mudflaps front & rear - Took delivery October 2013

I've gone from WK 22 to 33 to 31 to 30 and then 26 which is now its confirmed week ordered car 3/04.

Lots of members on Pistonheads reporting that they're getting loaners from VW due to delays...

Im not to fussed to be honest my current cars not due back till aug/sep so ive still got transport.

Presume they build cars in batches as my GTi PP 5dr Dsg is week 26 and was ordered 09.05.17.

Not had any changes to build date. Used the livechat whilst order was still at the 'with factory' stage on the tracker and they told me 26.06.17 (wk 26).

Build week 30 confirmed!

Built last week in July, so delivery hopefully second half of August.

So that took 5-6 weeks from ordering.

Just been on live chat and my build week is now confirmed as week 30 too(24th July).

Nothing showing on app yet. Ordered 24th April via DTD/JCB.

Hopefully should work out nicely for a 1st Sept registration.

Spec is 5 door DSG GTI, Isaac Blue, Brescias, Art Velour, Camera, Keyless & Climate Windscreen.

Still nothing. Unconfirmed build week has been moved forward a week to 33.

I was secretly hoping that as our order dates were similar that mine would be confirmed soon  :whistle:

There doesn't seem to be much logic as to how the build dates are allocated. Some are waiting 6 weeks for a car, others 16.

I take it factors such as specification and how many build slots each dealership has taken up have a big effect on manufacturing time.

I'm now on Stage 3 and officially with the build week 30 crowd - so hopefully will be able to put it on the road for 1st September 2017 - yeh!  :cool:
