Allegedly mines in the country now, arrived over weekend.

It was a car from a bulk order by Sytner. He mentioned they were ordered early March.
Mine too, same retail chain. I ordered on 7th March.
Mk7.5 5dr GTI DSG. Isaac Blue, Keyless, Dynaudio, DLA & Lane Assist, DCC, Art Velours.

My provision build date has come forward from BW38 to BW31. So that's w/c 31st July.

Am I right that's it usually about a month after that to allow for building, delivery and PDI?

New member here, just ordered the following:

GTi PE, 5dr, manual in Issac Blue, with:
Dynamic chassis control
Brescia wheels (have never upgraded wheels on a new car before, but having seen the Parkers in the flesh, really don't think they look that good)
Dynaudio (what is peoples impression of this? I've not heard one myself, but enjoy my music)
Keyless
Rear camera

Been quoted 16 weeks for delivery, but not had order number yet to get a build week. Went through DtD as they seemed to offer the best price and I've used them a number of times before. I know the dealer is in the SE, but does anyone know which dealer?

As an aside, does anyone know why the price differential for the PE kit is greater for manuals than for Dsg's (£1360 for a manual, £1115 for Dsg)? Seems strange as the Dsg gets 7 speeds instead of 6, but then past experience suggests VW UK does do some odd pricing tricks.
SOLD - 67 Golf GTi PP, 5dr, DSG in Issac Blue with rear camera, keyless entry, Dynaudio, Brescia alloys & DCC.

Mine is through DTD too. Not sure if it's OK to name the dealer but they're based in Kent and they have a very similar name to a company that makes yellow diggers!

I ordered with DTD on the thursday, they rang me on the friday to confirm details, and said the dealer would be in touch by wednesday. The dealer rang on the Tuesday to finalise. Got an email that night with an order number. I have only spoken to him once, everything else has been by email. Has answered all my queries quite quickly but found that he likes to email back about 8-9pm for some reason.

Thanks for that. I will go down and collect the car and probably stop over with relatives on way back, so killing two birds, etc.
Used DtD at least five times now and they make the process very easy as well as saving the hassle of trying to negotiate with recalcitrant local dealers who claim all manner of wild and inaccurate things about DtD as soon as they are mentioned.

No worries. First time I've used DTD, but they were £2200 cheaper than my local dealer even after showing them the quote I had.

I'm up in the North East so not sure whether I'm going to go down for it when it's ready yet. The cost includes someone driving it up for me, but I'll decide nearer the time. Might see if I can get the dealer to contribute to my train ticket!
