Checked my insurance today and I got several quotes cheaper than I'm paying now with bluefin remap included.
So what's the worst that can happen?
Clutch issues?
Wheel bearings?
Anything else that might go pop?
Did 20k+ in the mk6 without issues so might just go for it.
Warranty not a problem for me now, extended warranty runs out in July.
The worst that can happen is the car gets hit by a meteorite.
So long as you don't hammer it from low revs in high gears the clutch shouldn't get too upset, nor the wheel bearings.
If you managed 20k with a Bluefin mk6 then the mk7 should fare no worse and you'll be able to afford shoes out of the insurance savings...
