If you've ordered beginning of February are you 100% certain it's a facelift model.

It would have to be. They stopped manufacturing the pre-facelift car a good while back now (late last year?) and the facelifted models have already started appearing in showrooms.
MK8.5 GTI Clubsport. Moonstone grey. Queenstown 19’s. DCC. Harmon Kardon sound. Pano roof.

What delivery time did Nationwide cars say? I thought in the other thread some people were a bit cautious about them.

12-14 weeks. I was one of the people that mentioned the long delivery time because that's what one of the sales guys told me. However this is not the case and was confirmed to me by the company director.

I guess the proof will be in the pudding come this June when I expect delivery. I think everyone on this forum who ordered in February should be expecting a June delivery.

I heard there was concern that the cars would be first registered to Nationwide but i'm guessing this was a load of rubbish?

That's right mate. I posted about this point on this or the 'other' forum (can't remember). Car is registered in the customer's name and as first owner. No difference between buying from Nationwide cars or a main dealer in terms of first ownership etc.

Just checked my emails. It was the 9th February through DTD. The initial call with the dealer had a expected delivery time of June/July so he was also surprised at the build week.
I think it was the first day that the configuration appeared when I ordered so that could have had a bearing.

Some more have been popping up that you might want to see.

Indium Grey Golf R DSG with 18" Cadiz Wheels for £34,445: http://www4.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201703173382933?

White Golf GTI with new alloys for £24,999: http://www4.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201703223557608?

I have to say, that Golf GTI price is lower than I thought it'd be. When I first saw it, I thought it was a clubsport and had to have a second look.

Nice pictures but I really don't like the new Parker GTI alloys, bring back the Austins!
