We bought a couple of set from www.carmats4u.com

Have different qualities/price points and so far (6 months in) seem fine.

I went for Premier Super Luxe mars from carmats2u.  Lots of design choices and can be customised with logos.  I went for twin colour edging and had the R logo (in blue) added but obviously can be gti logo and edging in red too.  The quality is superb, really good thick carpet and heel pad in driver's side which is super comfortable underfoot.  Highly recommend them.  They cost me around £65 and arrived 6 days after ordering.

I recently ordered some 'platinum' 4000g from carmats2u, got an email from them yesterday saying they now do a 3000g that is very good quality and considerably cheaper than platinum approx £120, so I opted for the 3000g ones.

I have used aftermarket mats but not found any as durable as the VW ones. Got through 2 sets of aftermarket ones while the VW ones in the other car are still going strong with little wear with similar mileage for both cars.
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.
