Just spotted my first 7.5 gtd on the roads today. It was a deep pearl black 5 door with the standard gtd alloys, and it looked superb. I was torn between black and issac blue when ordering but think I've made the right choice for me after seeing that today. The Sevilla wheels look a lot better than they do in photos as well.

The only place I've seen isaac blue so far is pullmans vw sunderland.

And it looks awesome. More grey than blue. The amount of flake in the paint is impressive under direct sunlight.

I just realised Isaac (dark iron) blue is a GTI/D only colour - not even available on the R. So it has effectively replaced carbon grey as the unique GTI/D colour.

Yes, Isaac Blue is the new Carbon Grey. It would be my choice if I was considering a new GTI/GTD.

Looks like Indium Grey to me. Not blue enough to be Isaac Blue

Thanks, I wouldn't mind but I took the photo and the sales manager told me what colour it was but for the life of me I couldn't remember.
