I've ordered a GTI PP in issac blue (dark iron blue here in Denmark).....for me it was always a choice between CG and night blue on the mk7 and the issac blue looks to be a perfect mix of the two.... love the Atlantic blue but I think the issac will be more exclusive as its gti/gtd only.

Good point re the exclusivity - and having seen those clips of the issac/iron blue on road test under grey skies it is my favourite again!

I'd still prefer to see a members Isaac Blue photo - its a close choice between this or Indium Grey for me - coming from Carbon Grey (my all time favourite colour) and having had Blue Graphite in previous incarnations of the Golf.

Normally I like black cars, but when I was looking around the black GTI there was no contrast between the black grills and trim. Even the dark greys and blues have a little contrast with the black bits.

That's why front fogs look so good on the GTD/GTD because with the slats it really shows up the detail.

It looks great there. It's very like blue graphite which I had on a mk5 GTI. Loved that colour.

has anyone seen an isaac blue gti in the staffordshire area (at a vw retailer)?  as i'd like to see it in the flesh before commiting..

I think i'd also like to see it for myself before committing.

I saw many photos and videos where Limestone grey on the pre-FL looked fantastic. But it never looked quite as nice on any of the cars i saw parked up at the dealers or when out and about in the 'real world '. Hence I think I may have been disappointed if i'd ordered it in that colour on the strength of some photos and videos.
