Really changes with the light conditions - goes from white, to pale grey to a light silver.

Got all 3 shades in one pic here!

Its hard to appreciate the colour in a photo, it is a bit weird. In some lighting angles it looks a bit light primer grey (which I really like - although I'd prefer than darker non-metallic grey the Audi or Skoda comes in).

In others it looks silver.. or white.

I could see the contrast because it had the white transit wrappers on the bonnet still.

I didn't think I'd like it but I do quite like it, and I'm not really into silver cars. Maybe I like it because it doesn't really look silver.

The video on the VW website (used cars section) of the demonstrator GTI in White Silver that they've got for sale at Vindis Huntingdon IMO looks Pure White from the front, Oryx White on the left side that's in the full sun and silver-grey on the drivers side that's in the shade when looking at it square-on at the end of the video. Interesting colour.

Isn't it the same colour they put on Seat Leons? I think they call it Dynamic Grey there and people were complaining that its white not grey.

Looks the same kind of colour as my missus has on her Mazda CX-3, they call it 'Ceramic' and it looks really good. As soon as you see it next to a white car, or under streetlights/bright sun/dark skies you can see it's not white or silver, but a hybrid of both.

It's still too white for me though.

I've been away for a while, and currently contemplating an order for a white silver golf gti. Popped into the local dealers today and they have a white silver R sitting near to a tornado red GTI. Only problem was, no one came near me, ah well, CARWOW it is then

Do you see what I mean about it being a colour you need to see with your own eyes...

Yes, I was unconvinced before I saw it today. It's definitely an acquired taste,  but I like it.

My next problem is which wheels should I spec, not sure if I can live with 19's on a daily basis. Any Thoughts?
