Des Winks Scarborough

Car due second service. Thinking about using Des Winks the Scarborough VW dealer .It is reasonable close to where we live.. Did not rate Lookers Northallerton who I used for the first service . Anyone on here used them and can recommend ?

If you don't mind, what was wrong with Lookers Northallerton? I am often around that neck of the woods and when my car arrives I might have to take it to that garage.

Never had a problem with Des Winks. They are our local dealer. Over the years, we've bought 7 cars from them, and they have looked after them all very well. Everybody at the dealership is very approachable and friendly, and they always make an effort to make things easy for us, when it comes to service time. Not too expensive, either. Oh, and their coffee is pretty good, too!

Des winks, although a relatively big firm you still get a sense of a family run business.  I had my GTD there for service and warranty work and the service department were always happy to help...... they even understood my OCD with no cleaning whilst it was in etc.

Hi. Thanks for that . Des it is ! Lookers were ok but I had to return three times for them to get a software issue solved . It is also quite a way away from where we live .

I am using lookers northallerton after a bad experience at des winks, I don't really want to go into detail but I was left feeling that I would never return there...but any garage could be good or bad on the day.
