Be like the Audi TT Quattro Sport with the standard squish seats not the Pole Positions - WRONG!

The bucket seats were very tempting for me when I placed my order for the Clubsport, however before I placed the order I was following the German Clubsport thread and noticed that several Clubsport owners since July last year started complaining about squeaks and rattles they were experiencing with the seats. This issue is still continuing at present and there appears to be no solution to the problem. That was simply the reason I decided to go with the standard seats which I am very happy with although of course the buckets would have been my preferred choice. Below is a translation of one of the latest post regarding the issue.

Repairs and replacements are currently suspended. One has probably for the many complaints no solution ready.
The creaking, clattering and adjusting the seats will probably sooner or later be sold as state of the art.

The same seats have been in Audi's for years and an option on the Golf since the mk5 - have they all suffered the same?

Plus the issues are always amplified in forums, I know of at least 3 other owners (and myself) that don't have any issues with them.  The fact that only some of them are rattling implies a solution/treatment is feasible.

Not had an issue with mine.

Ripped a set out of MK5 last month, they look like they wear pretty well in leather form.

I have had no problems with my seats. They look great and feel great when driving. They are also heated which is something I wouldn't have expected from sports seats.

I agree that they make the Clubsport what it is and add to its uniqueness.
