Drove to worthing today where Joe helped me with my speedo cable, various belts, gear linkage (finally sorted) and other bits and bobs. Car was good fun driving home  and felt perfect to drive. Makes an awesome sound now the air intake baffle bit has been removed.
We came up with some great ideas involving chrome gear from 5 door GL models along with Ronal Turbos, but Mike has thrown a spanner in the works and gone and bloody sold them  , absolutely gutted!

Sorry for throwing spanner in the works mate!! If you look around you can find em cheap, I got mine brand new from germany for £180 and then tires cost £200 so it can be done cheaply!

It's cool Mike, you've really saved from an ear bashing from the missus to be honest 

I've set my sights on a new JVC headunit now  the one with the built in TFT screen (the little one) due to issues with my current headunit, so i'll now get an ear bashing about this headunit instead
