Hello all
I've had this issue a few times and whats happened is that i'm driving the car and all of a sudden the car starts warning me that the boot lid is open when its actually closed, and the car has been to the dealers once before, and I'm sure they didn't believe I had this problem as I had no video evidence at the time and they couldn't find a problem with it, but a couple of weeks ago it happened again so I took a video of the problem(link to it at the bottom of post)and the car went straight back to the dealer, scratching their heads they've never seen this problem before, its booked in on the 7th Feb for them to investigate. I know its some time away but its the most convenient for me to go in then.
The problem is intermittent, and has happened in all weathers, as I thought has water/damp got to the sensor, when it first happened it was wet, but its done it in the dry and also in the snow(when I took the video)
Just wondering whether anyone else has had this problem with any of the door sensors at all
