Repair kit from VW dealer is around 30-40 pound just ordered one and i forgot already. Replacement kit is around £80 and they charge £80 pound a hour so its best to roll up your sleaves and give it ago.  :undecided:

a day after i bought my car, this has happened to my drivers window.
luckily i got it up before it completely went.

any chance of getting the pictures up in this thread, the links to them seem to be gone?

joined the window broke club this morning  :angry:

only picked the car up last weekend  :rolleyes:

wheres the best place to get the part today ? do VW dealers generally carry it ? have I got to watch out for dodgy pattern parts or is there only VW ones on the market ?
