Smoked Vs Crystal Headlamps - Metallic Black Mk2

I'm looking into buying new lights for my mk2 as my first mod. It's a black car and unsure of whether to go crystal or smoked? Any opinions?

It's going to be a single lamp grille with badge (unsure of whether to go black or chrome with the badge)

Does anybody have any on-car pics they could post up please as it's easier to compare that way!

Where's the best place to buy these lights? The only smoked ones that i've seen have been for LHD cars only.

I'm not after crosshairs but pics of those too will let me see which colour looks more suitable.

Get a couple of pics of the front and back of your car and put a post in the Virtual Mods section and one of the resident photoshop guru's (mainly Large portion with that luv ?? ) will sort you out and you can see which one you like best. I've got crystal front lights on mine with a chrome badge, but smoked light look good aswell.

Chris i think that's the look i'm going for as someone has offered me a good deal on a set of 'as new' crystal lights.

Did you buy your grill from GSF? They quoted me £12.50 but i'm not sure if the badge is included in the price.

Have you got any more front end shots?
