That's made me feel much better about the state of my GTI, thanks! Mine hasn't been washed for nearly a month including a week in Cornwall but doesn't look too bad as it turns out

I'd rather the detritus as above than a stupid couple bits of plastic ruining the lovely line of the wheel arch.

Get your dirty car pics up....

Lol.  Mine also a month sans wash.  That dead worm on the passenger front wing is now well and truly welded to the paint.  It started off looking reasonably healthy for a deceased worm..

Last week...

This week...

Wormwatch continues...

Golfs from the MKI onwards have always looked better dirty.Especially the dirt collecting back end.Mk2s were the best for it.
I used to wash my number plate and rear lights when it got really bad.Left the rest.Didn't want to scratch the paintwork.Plus it just added to it's coolness!.
The rear wash/wipe just added to the chaos!.

Ahh yes, mk2 Golfs, I think I had four of those in all.
You just had to wash the damn things, then gently drive up the road and it's already have a layer of crud on the back window and rear panel.

Ms. B, I'm surprised you've not swapped your posh mats out for the OEM ones for winter already.
I'm sure you'll be teasing us with super clean shots on Sunday, if not before!

How did that worm get there? And more importantly, how did it stay there?!! You'd expect it to flick up off the tyre and bounce off the paintwork. Maybe his guts leaking out glued him to the car?
Any David Attenborough's on board kind enough to explain how Mr Wormy stuck fast and defied gravity?

Booth: Where have you been to have picked up that much dirt in a single day? You do wash and polish your car daily, right?
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Mr Ex, I did swap them over couple weeks ago but decided to put these ones back in.  The original mats don't have the thick heel pad and aren't and as comfy underfoot - important during winter months when you spend quite a lot of time out tramping around fields in the freezing cold.  So these are now my winters and I'll get a new set for summer.

Don't worry I'll spare you the clean pics when it eventually does get washed.  You all know what it looks like.

I expect Mr Wormy has leaked his guts and is now glued on.  I'm expecting a squiggly bit of etching under him when he finally is removed.
