I've just seen a crime being committed...
« on: 17 November 2016, 16:10 »
Take a deep breath.

Ladies and gentlemen, today I saw my first ClubSport GTI in the flesh.

Unfortunately it was a black one and...

... It was being "attended to" by the Eastern European panel scrapers having a £4 "wash"

So, if that was you in Pinhoe please hang your head in shame forever more.
I know the front end looks a bit fugly, but seriously there's no need to ruin the rest of the paintwork too

I need a stiff drink.

Wow.
I'm someone who never washed cars and I've just spent the equivalent of 2 slicks for the Intermarque for Mrs LRW's CS.

You are a shameful individual Sir. When someone who appreciates that car gets their hands on it they will spend countless hours and £££ undoing your ignorant damage.

Many years ago a teenage boy in our village started a car wash. He was from a well respected family. So my dad thought nothing of leaving his 6 month old Landrover Discovery to get washed and arranged collection later. This meant leaving the keys so the car could be moved. Of course the teenager decided to take the vehicle for a joyride and he crashed it. That's just one of the reasons I don't like going to a car wash.

... that really was a crime.

You have to be very careful who you leave the keys to your pride and joy with.
I recommend that film ' Ferris Buelle'rs Day Off if you want to see what they can get up to when you leave it in their capable hands.
