Group of four guys turned up around 8pm in what looks like a subaru, broke in to the house and took the keys there were three of us and dog in at the time but didn't hear a thing. They returned later around 10pm and took the car.
Is there an insurance dilemma in these cases? Does the car insurance policy always pay because the car was stolen (regardless of how it was stolen), or is there a level of responsibility for cover lying with the house insurance? After all, the car keys were stolen due to a burglary event on the house.
