Capri green was the best colour, oak green was nice but capri green was far better in my opinion

I never got the whole oak green MK2 thing either.

It's a strange one. I could never imagine choosing an Oak Green GTI back in the late 80's early 90's. Red was the predominant go faster colour, but now it somehow works. Maybe it was a colour ahead of it's time.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

As we've said loads of times on here, VW sell Golfs in Germany in dozens of colours.

As opposed to the very muted selection of greys they sell here :(

It's a NO from me lol had the been the viper green yeah but a rolling privit hedge erm nope... even the viper green is a gamble when we bout the scirocco in 2010 I wanted to order in viper green but then common sense kicked in and thought about when the time comes to sell it you've less chance of selling unless you find someone else who loves the viper so I opted for my 1st colour choice Candy White lol
