I've had the Golf GTi bug for a while, for the last 5 years I've had an '07 MK5 Black DSG, and this weekend I bought an MK2 Oak Green GTi 16v..... It's a stunning car now, but have been making a long list these past few days of things to do to make it superb. Have ordered lots of bits already eg: new chrome door inserts from VW Heritage, a couple of new badges, new indicator lenses, new mats, etc.
The problem I have is the MFA LCD in the instrument binnacle, it has "bled" to the point only half is actually visible / usable. Looking on line replacing it looks like a job I can tackle myself but I cant seem to find the LCD part on its own, and I'd like not to have to spend a tonne of cash on a full binnacle. Is there anyone out there selling / making just the LCD element?
