Pirellis are ultra rare in the UK so will always command a good price.
When I was looking to buy a mk7 GTI back in 2009 there were several Pirellis around on dealer forecourts that you could get a new GTI for so the price differential has remained pretty much the same.
I'd much rather have a nice Pirelli than an early mk6 to be honest, but it's a car I'd not want to use every day to maintain its value and condition.
If you can PM me the spec and reg of the car I can run a CAP valuation on it to show what it's worth at trade price if you like. That won't directly reflect what it's worth in a public sale due to its rarity but it will be a guide.
