Back from Stealth Racing and my bhp figure is.....

161.3bhp from a standard mk2 1.8 16V !!
all its has is a panel filter and a pipe, am pretty chuffed with that result!!!!

Standard is 137 so yeah its not bad considering not engine mods!!! was pretty happy!

what kinda pipe u running? if your on a 4 branch manifold with a filter etc these are slightly above the figures youd see with them mods
if you aint got a 4 branch manifold thats a pretty high output for just a system and filter, but then they always say they loosend up, the looser they are the more horses they kick!!

I don't want to "rain on your parade", but it might be worth getting it tested at another place to compare figures. Dyno tests can vary wildly between places.
I would have thought them to be standard, but I was informed differently.

I know of a VR6 with a panel filter who claims 217 BHP on a dyno run in Aberdeen, where as all my work by AmD has only just pushed my VR6 over the 200 mark on their equipment. And I know mine is quicker than his!

Dont take that figure as gospel, i think it is quite known that Stealths rollers are quite generous with the horses, all in all that is good though, but i believe Awesome's rollers are coming out well too at th moment. I am having my RR'd mid october with a RR day on seatcupra.net
