Still not got new wheels yet - was really undecided as too many to choose from and then too many birthdays and xmas got in the way which used up waaay too much of my savings.
Finally got back on track to where I can get some wheels again and still remain undecided but have narrowed it down to either BBS SX or these below - ATS Racelight, but don't know much about this make - anyone had any experience with them?
They come in an offset of 30 or 38 for 18x8.5 wheel - which would be the best size and would spacers be required for a flush fit?
ATS are a very prestigious name in Germany and are renowned in racing circles. ATS wheels were once de rigeur on mk1 and mk2 Golfs on the Euro scene.
The Racelights are very strong and light and the VW Pretoria wheels borrow a lot of styling cues from them.
However ET30 & 38 will both stick out too far on a mk7 Golf.
The max you can get away with will be 45mm on a mk7 at the front. The 38's would fit the rear though, but only just.
