evo1986 has already given the production end date of the mk7 which is the end of the year. BW45 is unrelated and his last thread on the subject states VW UK are waiting on Wolfsburg to decide what they'll do with the run out few weeks.
For some markets they've already stopped production.
A lot of it will depend on the order books and parts in stock or even excess stock.
Popular models will likely not get much extra kit but maybe a few sweeteners as they're last of line models.
Wouldn't it be funny if a load of cars turned up with leather interiors when their owners wanted cloth!
The new Golf hasn't even been previewed yet so is still some way off. There looks like there will be a bit of a gap between runout and facelift.
