Definitely keeping the Austin's. It's just the colour now, and I haven't even gone for HBA either!

After nearly 6 months with my Tungsten GTI, I still love the colour. It really makes the Mk7 curves and creases stand out. Also seems to be quite chip resistant, too, although I am now touching wood and crossing fingers! Salesman tried to talk me out of TS and I actually ordered CSG, but changed it a week later, after parking my Deep Pearl Black GTD next to a Carbon one and deciding that I wanted a change from black. My wife has a Reflex Polo and the TS is significantly different, by the way.

Go TS - you will love it.

Don't fancy Red Chris? Looks good on GTI/GTD, ot's a change from white and it's cheap.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

I would definitely order CSG again - such a shame it is being discontinued. I wonder if they will replace it with something similar. If not then a DPB GTI PP manual with Austins would be my cup of tea.

No news on the facelift from the Paris show so far which is disappointing.

Definitely don't want red Matt. Carbon has been replaced with Indium Grey hasn't it? Black shows up any paint work scratches from 50 yards so that's definitely out.

I think I'm going for tungsten silver just because I've already had pure white on the gtd.

Don't think I would bother with DCC if you go 18 Austins.  If you went 19's I would, but as you are set on Austins then the standard set up offers a competent ride. for example If you never use sport setting on DCC unless you are on track, then you will use the normal or soft 95% of the time, which is somewhere approx near the std set up, you may as well save the cash. No need for leather with tartan seats I feel, and I see you are picking the PP which is helpful if you are a car enthusiast to get the most out the chassis at more than 5/10ths.

Colour? Very personal choice and I could have a GTi in any colour as none of them are wide of the mark.

I had DCC on my gtd and it was the first thing i specced this time too. Unfortunately the roads in Sunderland are terrible so the Dcc comes in very handy. I think its good to have an option but the standard set up is very good I agree. I'll have a mull overnight before ordering in the morning.
