How do I know what stereo my car has?

On our 2010MY MK6 GTi, how do I know what stereo it has please?

It is probably a RCD 310 or 510 unless it has satnav. Try looking at this site - they retrofit radios etc. Should find yours in the pictures http://hazzydayz.com/golf-5k---2009-2013---mk6-37-c.asp

or try ebay for a picture.

Thanks... It's an RCD310... Suggests it has Bluetooth telephone function but nothing happens when au try it.

They all have a 'PHONE' button on them, regardless of Bluetooth being fitted or not. If you press the button with a phone handset on the steering wheel, it will open the phone menu in the DIS if Bluetooth is fitted.
