On my morning commute a rentokil/initial driver went in to the back of me. Waiting at a roundabout he 'didn't realise' van was in first gear and it has jerked forward in to my car. No damage To his but damage to my bumper.
Car was due to be collected by BCA tomorrow on behalf of VW finance. BCA have said they can collect tomorrow but I will be charged for the damage to the vehicle which even though it's slight cannot be repaired due to crease lines and will need a new rear bumper. Driver has admitted liability so to me it's a no brainer.
VW have advised that I can continue paying my monthlies and go through insurance. That could leave me depending on how long it takes to sort between 300-600 out of pocket with no guarantee of rentokil's insurance company indemnifyinf me for my additional payments. So lose lose for me.
Vw are looking in to pushing back collection with BCA but BCA advised that 22/09 was the last date they could collect.
Such a ball ache. Brighter side I won't have to hire a temp car until my R arrives.
