Quantum oil

Hi.

Is anyone wast of Quantum oil. I'm due to have my car serviced next week with Quantum Platinum oil. Apparently it is VW approved but I've never heard of it....
Candy White 3 dr Manual 2012 GTi. Bought new.
DAB, Dynaudio, Kenwood Head Unit Upgrade, Private Plate,
Full Leather and Heated Seats
18" Shadow Monzas, luxury pack.
Colour coded side skirts and gloss black diffuser.

My grandads skoda (56 plate fabia vrs, he bought it at 11 months old) has always had that stuff, from the dealer and since he started taking it to a private place.

When we buy oil from tps its always quantum aswell. And they only use what vw use

Quantum is effectively "VW OEM" oil.

It's maybe VW UK approved, not VW OEM oil. It does fulfill specs required thou (but many other oils do too).

Its what the skoda dealers used to sell for years but it has recently changed.
