Mk3 2.0 gti 8v exhaust diametre

Ive bought a back box and want to know what size the standard pipe is ? Thanks in advance

Should be 55mm for 2E, AGG and ADY from cat back unless modified.

I thought it was 50mm for 8v and 55mm for 16v and VR6,smaller for smaller engines like 1.4 and 1.6,not sure about 1.8.

What back box have you bought exactly ?

Yeah it's 50mm for 8v, 55mm for 16v.
1.8 is 50mm too, iirc 45 for smaller engines (and possibly early 1.8 with low output).

Inches it is not, ze Germans work in metric. :D
