Ummm.... Isnt that nye on the same as shauns gti engineering mk1 on here??

And it cant keep up with a skyline but it can basically as jv said do what hurdys could at a 1/4 mile.

Another small note, even if it could do 150, surely the revs on a 8v would run out on a 5 speed box before then.

And if I wanted it I couldnt drive it 1St. If im going to buy such a 'fast' golf 1. Id want rr printout amd 2. Id want to f**king blip it up the road to make sure it was as fast as I wanted.
It would want to spin 1St, 2nd and into 3Rd like my old mk2 to even make me want to have it.

Lastly could by a 20vt mk1 cab for less money and have more fun id have thought

I've had 140mph out of my mk2, but I've done a 5th gear conv, and tbf the engine was about 2 seconds from blowing itself all over the M1!
If it had a turbo, and a 5th gear conv on the mk1 in question it may be more believable, that or some seeeeeeeeeeeerious tuning!!

An e30 m3 sport evo and 190e cosworth evo 2 would struggle to top that, with 2.5 litres an 16 valves or a rs500 cosworth for that matter (unless you get the wallet out, and they were all quick cars). It ain't an rs500 race car.
Take it with a pinch of salt, if you like it buy the car thats being sold, not the one in the description.
