Cheers all. Love the pics. Black looks great. My last one was black and it picks up dirt like nothing on earth.

The exhaust looks brilliant. I would be tempted to change up the pipes but I am a little uneducated when it comes to that. If you wanted to improve performance and sound, what would you need? Could you just change out from the cat backwards or would an entire new exhaust system be better?

What would be an average price for a new exhaust kit?

Its the down pipe that will give you grunt, the rest doesn't make all that much difference.
Suffering from a severe and unforgiving case of GTItis

that is true black very hard to keep clean but always best when cleaned :)

as for the exhaust mine is cobra sport non-resonated catback cost me £650 fitted gives the car a more sporty sound track :) fitting a down pipe gives you more power but i think you have to go stage 2 ???

I have been having a look at at few on there. How do they change the car in terms of;
1) Sound
2) Performance
3) MOT

And are they a DIY job if you have the right gear or would someone trained need to do it?
