Hi all, just deciding if i should add mudguards for Carbon grey colour GTI there are pros and cons, just after your thought and pictures if possible.
Thanks
Hi Scotte
I think the best way to look at it, is not from an aesthetics point of view, but whether you are keeping the car for 5-10 years? If not don't worry too much about it, just drive the car and leave them off and forget about them. I fitted them because we are keeping the car for 10 years, (very rare these days) I didn't fit them for the dirt along the doors so much but to try protect the small metal area of the wing that faces the tyre at the bottom of the sill, it will take a LOT of abuse. So if you are keeping the car for a very long time, the fronts would
likely be a worth while investment.
Rears are pointless, no metal parts to corrode behind to protect, and no reduction in rear window dirt.
Our car, Its not a GTD but you get the idea, they don't stand out very much imo. But i'm sure some are cringing at the site of them
