Hi guys! Just joined the forum, just wondered if anyone on here has managed to secure a Clubsport S?

I've got an email from my sales manager saying I have.
I got in touch about a CS initially and then the CSS images in the old paddock at the 'ring circulated in possibly April which was probably a warm up for the lap record in May.
I put my letter of intent in on 8/6 (the week of the 'ring press launch) and got notification on 1/8 of a slot when the spec and price were confirmed.

I didn't get a colour choice but black was my top choice anyway

I haven't officially had my order processed yet as apparently the car is not on the system at present.

This Pistonheads thread is good and there is another person in there with an order

Congrats guys, I think this truly is the right car to buy out of all the GTi's, reduced weight, limited numbers, special discs hubs, etc, Just don't shut it away in dry storage.  :wink:

For me, no pics will be too ordinary, can't wait to see the "ins and outs" of one. (rear strut brace and cargo net, discs, pads and hubs, rear lower valance or diffuser)

Unfortunately most of them will be bought as 'personal cars' and sold after a trip or two to the 'ring for a profit to other speculators/collectors.

Very excited atm, thinking of having it clear wrapped to keep it nice as I do plan to use it properly lol, we shall see!
Also wondering if it's worth getting mapped

You would be mental to get it mapped imo.

Every time you add or subtract from the limited production run car, it tends to devalue it. I would enjoy it how it was designed and as the engineers wanted it to be. I bet the test drivers never came away thinking after lapping the Ring in the fastest FWD hot hatch, d'you know what this car needs... Another 70hp and 95nm with a remap  :smiley:
