This seems like the last piece of the puzzle, but it's real confusing!

Only started happening last week and when I turn right the indicators work fine, all bulbs working, fuse changed..

The issue is when I indicator left only. It buzzes in the fuse box and the light on the dash either doesn't come on or is solid green.

I thought maybe the relay could need changing, but the indicators work perfect if I'm turning right..

Next suspect is the actual indicator stalk.

Anyone had this issue before in the past?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Stefan

Do you have any relays behind the headlamp on your car? Mine does, and when something similar started happening to mine it turned out to be earth wire to the relay.

Hey guys, thanks for your help so far.

I noticed today that if I hold the stalk in when indicator left, it works! However it's not very safe on the roads..

New indicator stalk purchased yesterday, which I am certain is the culprit.

Will update the thread once I've fitted the stalk.

Thanks!

Maybe you could try this, before outlaying for a new stalk...give the whole thing a good clean, spray on a decent application of electrical contact cleaner...wait a few minutes and then wash all the crap away with a a really good dose of WD40. When it stops dripping, dry up everything you can see and apply some non conductive grease (white) to all the moving/parts you can see and get to (a cotton bud is good for this bit).

It will help if you have, or have access to, an air nozzle...makes the job much faster....it's worked for me over a dozen times on various vehicles.

Hi again,

Tried all sorts of cleaning and dusting checking all connections/cables.. Nothing worked.

Replaced the indicator stalk and now it works flawlessly! Was only £10.00 off eBay.

Thanks for your help,
Stefan
