Hello everyone :smiley:.

First let me introduce myself i am Darren

I am 23 from sunny essex  :grin:

I have joined this site as a good friend of mine is a big vw fan and also a bit of a specialist and owns a garage called a&r motors in essex.

He has convinced me to sell up my crappy ford and turn to the german side  :grin:

I am a big big fan of splitty campers and beetle's but i think i am going to have to go for a mk2 gti 16v.

I have had a good look about and see that there are quite a few about for sale at real good price's.

I am going to be looking at spending around £1200 on one, so any help on what to look for 'good and bad' and even if you may have one that would be ideal for me that would be great.

Fingers crossed it will only be a few weeks til i have the money and i get get stuck into a new toy  :smiley:
