It feels a bit aggressive at first but stick with it and you will soon get the hang of it.

I have mine on Sport with 3 green lights.  That's the yellow PROG light plus 3 greens.

I'll try the setting you're using tomorrow Rebecca, it may suit my driving style better.

I took my pedal box off my GTD and put it on Mrs P3's GTI.
She's not really interested in cars so I thought I was wasting my time.
I said to her the other day I had put the settings down a notch to Sport+ and one light rather than two.
You would think I'd told her Christmas was cancelled

Obviously likes driving it more than she's letting on.

Worth trying a few different settings kalimon.  I started off on Sport and 0 or 1 green light, then moved to 2 greens, now on 3.  If you start off nearly at full whack, leaves you nowhere to go, lol.  Whatever you choose, avoid the max setting of Sport + and 3 greens.  There is a warning that max setting can cause car to go into LIMP mode which is exactly what happened to the guy who had the box I now have on his.

What have people told their insurance companies regarding the pedal box? Do most know what they are/do?

I haven't bought one yet but have run it passed my insurer, Direct Line. They were fine with it so long as I declared it but would not charge any extra as it doesn't increase the engine's power.

I would say Rebecca advice is spot on,  I have tried it on sport+ and three lights for a week but decided it wasnt worth the risk of a limp mode, back to sport+ and two lights...I love this setting.

If you try the settings for a week or so and then turn the pedal box of for a drive it really feels like disappointment, I really dont know why vw have not done something similar with the eco normal and sport settings because that woul cater for us all.
