ive refiited my standard grill again, and done me own badge black, looks ok, i did fit me badgeless one, but the quality of the grill wasnt up to much and you have to bear in mind to get the recess gaps sorted where the old vw emblem used to go will mean as well as having your grill painted, you ll need your bumper and bonnet painting too!! so what you think of a cheap job turns out to be quite expensive!!

I was thinking of having a badgeless grille, as I think it makes the car look 'meaner'.

I need to save some pennies though, because I'd want the bonnet filled where the badge goes!
